Gayle Rosen graduated from the University of Michigan in 1985 and obtained her JD from Washington College of Law at American University in 1988. She is licensed to practice law in the state of Michigan, the U. S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan, and the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals.
Ms. Rosen's area of legal expertise at SLS is landlord/tenant. She represents students in housing disputes with off - campus landlords and property managers. Prior to working as a landlord/tenant attorney at SLS, she worked with Michigan Protection and Advocacy Services, Hudson County Legal Services in Jersey City, New Jersey, and the Community Health Law Project in East Orange, New Jersey.
Ms. Rosen is on the Board of Directors of the Fair Housing Center of Southeast and Mid-Michigan, is a member of the Ann Arbor Active Against ALS, and is a co-chair of the ACLU - Washtenaw County Lawyer's Committee.
